Morgan horses must be registered with the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA).

The owner of the horse must be a current member of the FMHA. For equitation and amateur rider/driver divisions, the exhibitor must be a current member of the FMHA.

The owner/exhibitor must have FMHA membership dues paid by February 1st of the award year in order to count towards high point awards. All shows prior to this date will count provided the membership dues are paid on time. If the owner/exhibitor joins after this date, only the remainder of the year will count towards the high point awards.

Points are calculated as follows:

Qualifying classes:

The Citrus Cup regional Horse Show points will now count double for the year end rewards

The horse/exhibitor must show in a division at least twice to be counted for High Point.

Points will transfer to the new owner when a horse is sold to another FMHA member.

High Point Awards are presented at the FMHA Annual Banquet. Awards are given to the champions. Ribbons are given to the champions and reserve champions.

Classic English Pleasure - Adult
Includes all gender divisions. Does not include junior exhibitor classes

Hunter Pleasure

Hunter Pleasure - Open
Includes open and FMHA Horse Shows* Working Hunter classes
Hunter Pleasure - Amateur
Includes amateur and FMHA Horse Shows* Working Hunter classes. Does not include junior exhibitor classes.
Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse
Includes all age and gender divisions.

FMHA Horse Shows include Citrus Cup and Summer's Endshows Note, the Working Hunter points will count toward either the Open - OR- Amateur award, not both.

Western Pleasure

Western Pleasure Junior Horse

Junior Exhibitor

Saddle Seat Equitation

Includes Morgan Saddle Seat Equitation classes and Medal or Challenge Cup classes that are not restricted to Morgans. You must inform the High Point Chairman of your placing in the class. Does not include Classic Saddle Seat Equitation classes.

If a Morgan Saddle Seat Equitation Championship class is not available, an "open" championship will count. You must inform the High Point Chairman of your placing in the class.

Classic Saddle Seat Equitation

Includes Morgan Saddle Seat Equitation classes and Medal or Challenge Cup classes that are not restricted to Morgans. You must inform the High Point Chairman of your placing in the class.

If a Morgan Saddle Seat Equitation Championship class is not available, an "open" championship will count. You must inform the High Point Chairman of your placing in the class.

Walk-Trot - Pleasure
Includes pleasure classes at shows with a Morgan division. You must inform the High Point Chairman of your placing in the class.
Walk-Trot - Equitation
Includes pleasure classes at shows with a Morgan division. You must inform the High Point Chairman of your placing in the class.

Carriage Driving

To promote the Morgan horse at all-breed shows, all shows with carriage driving classes are acceptable. Please send the results including the show name, date, location, signed by the show secretary, to the High Point Chairman immediately following the show. Results must be in by November 30th to count.

Dressage

To promote the Morgan horse at all-breed shows, all dressage shows are acceptable. Please send the results including the show name, date, and location, signed by the show secretary, to the High Point Chairman immediately following the show. Results must be in by November 30th to count.

Open Shows

To promote the Morgan horse at all-breed shows, any style of riding or driving is acceptable. Please send the results including the show name, date, and location, signed by the show secretary, to the High Point Chairman immediately following the show. Results must be in by November 30th to count.
