After reviewing the prize list, we have determined that the show does not meet the High point requirements. The show chairs have been notified about this matter. If anything changes, we will post it on the web site. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.

There may be a new place to hold a horse show in the future. The City of Oviedo and a non-profit group called the Friends of Winter Miles are planning on building a horse park.

The place targeted for the new park is property that was once used as a training facility for the trotters. They trained here in the winter and raced at the now closed Ben White Raceway in Orlando. The property was sold a couple of years ago and the Friends of Winter Miles was formed to try and keep the property from becoming yet another subdivision. They were successful in convincing the city to join their efforts and some of the property has already been turned into a park with soccer fields and baseball diamonds. Now we are trying to expand it, but we have a long way to go.
